Cars Land
This is a shot of Cars Land at Disneyland. This was shot after closing and during the World of Color so the street was pretty empty.
The new land is really something, you really feel like your walking around in the world of Cars. Although the rides are just ok, the experience of the land is great. Also the detail at night with all the neon on the street is fantastic.

The Back Side Of The Ferry Building
This is an HDR of the back side of the San Francisco Ferry Building, it was then converted to black and white.
I was barley able to get this shot, apparently the pier I shot this from closes at a certain time, I was in the middle of my shots and security was hurrying me up, and of course being night the exposures were taking awhile. I was able to stall enough to get all the shots that I wanted to get.

Sleeping Beauty Castle In B&W
This is a 3 shot HDR image of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland, it was then converted to B&W.
This is another shot from the little area by Sleeping Beauty Castle where nobody really walk around. This was taken in the middle of summer when Disneyland was packed, but going to this little side area you are able to get a very nice shot like this one with a minimum amount of people in the shot.

Come Stay With Us...
This is a 7 shot HDR, converted to B&W and then textures were added of the Twilight Tower of Terror at the California Adventure Park, in the Disneyland Resort.
We really wanted to get the theme of the ride, which was this is a 1930's Hollywood Hotel so we went for the old time look with the textures and B&W. This is such a fun ride, one of our favorites, couple interesting facts. First is the ride is randomized each time up, so the pattern of rise and falling is never the same. Second you are not dropped in the elevator, but instead pulled, which creates a bit of levitation, so cool. If you are here go on this ride!!!

Las Vegas Eiffel Tower
This is a three shot HDR image of the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Paris Hotel and Casino. We then converted it to black and white.
This image really did work in color, but we felt it could be better in black and white, and it really does seem to work, especially the clouds.

San Francisco in B&W
This is a 3 shot HDR image of Pier 7 in San Francisco, CA, we then converted it to B&W.
We spent a couple of nights in San Francisco back in March and the days and nights were very nice, and very clear. We have done a couple of shots of this Pier before but there are so many different things you can do in post process. There is so many lights on the dock it casts a bit of a yellow on the scene, so switching it to B&W we felt really takes that a way and gives the beauty of the scene.

Sailling In San Francisco
This is a 3 shot HDR and converted to black and white, and textures were added. This was shot on the boat coming back from Alcatraz. Kind makes you think what the prisoners thought when they were seeing stuff like this on their way to freedom.
It was such a nice day on the bay, but the shot was coming out very bland in coloring so we changed over to black and white and it really made the photo look nice.

The Streets Of San Francisco
This is a 3 shot HDR image, and it was then converted to black and white. This one of the many streets in San Francisco that is on a hill, the rail in the middle really kind of leads you in to the TransAmerica Pyramid in the background.
Be careful if you ever try a shot like this in San Francisco, the drivers really fly up and down the hill, so always be on the look out for that.

The Downward Spiral...
Here is a picture of a popular destination to photograph, the stairs at Embarcadero Center in San Francisco, California.
Since this is such a common photo, we wanted to do something a little different with them. This is a three shot HDR, converted to black and white, some color was then added back in, and textures were applied. What do you think?

Under The Bridge...
Here is a one shot HDR image, converted to black and white, with textures added of the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge. Over the last few days we have been revisting some of our old images that were not as good. Of course this happens to ever one as you are just starting and learning, you are going to have a lot of images you look back on and don't like.
This image started of as an HDR in color the way we had it before and it was over done in our opinion. So the original intent was to go back and reprocess again in color, it didn't look right still. That's when we got the idea to try black and white, which looked good but still seemed to be missing something. We then added pictures and here is the final product. Much better in our opinion then before.

San Francisco Cable Cars
This image is a 3 shot HDR, it was then converted to Black and White leaving the cable car in color. Finally we added some textures to the image. The textures are actually from the walls of Alcatraz so this image is completely San Francisco. The cable cars are pretty fun attraction if you are visiting the city so give them a shot if you are ever here.
