Under The Pier

This is a shot at one of my favorite beaches in Southern California, Huntington Beach. This was shot on a very nice summer day and the beach was pretty packed, everyone however was out catching the sun and not under the pier.

A Great Sunset

This is a one exposure HDR image of a sunset taken on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu Hawaii.

This was such a great night for taking pictures, the clouds were very interesting, the sun was casting very nice light on them, and the beach that night was very peaceful, such a great way to end a day in Hawaii. One of our favorite things in Hawaii was to be at the beach for great sunsets like this. If you go be sure to check some out.

Diamond Head

This is a one shot HDR image of the Diamond Head volcano in Honolulu, Hawaii, this was shot from Waikiki Beach.

Hawaii provides so many great sunsets to shoot, while we were here we made sure to be out on the beach for quite a few of them. We stayed here during the start of December so the beach was not super crowded. As a result this image here did not require the need to photoshop out very many people.

Sun, Sun, Sun, Here We Come

This is a one shot HDR image of a boat on Waikiki Beach getting ready to head out into the ocean. The sun was setting soon and we got a nice sun ray, and some nice diamond looking reflections off the water.

This seemed like a fun excursion to go on, it was a bit of a party boat. Head out to the ocean, have some drinks, come back. What better way to spend a sunset in Hawaii?

Like A Bridge Over Troubled Water

Actually the water was pretty calm on this night. This is a one shot HDR of a rock walkway in Waikiki, in Honolulu Hawaii.

This is a really popular spot that people like to walk out on and take in the sunset, along with take some photos. If you wait long enough though most disappear after the sunset and you can get photos like this. There were about 2 people in this photo but they were easy to take out.

View of Monterey Bay Part 2

This is actually the same image from yesterday, from a photowalk that Trey Ratcliff from Stuck In Customs conducted. The only difference in this one is it was converted to infrared. We personally like the color version, but people on Flickr seem to think the Infrared one is better. What do you think?

View Of Monterey Bay

This is a 3 shot HDR image of a beach in Monterey, this is just behind Cannery Row. The photo was taken while on a photowalk with Trey Ratcliff from Stuck In Customs .

The sky was a little plain that night so we replaced it from a sky in Hawaii. This was a really nice angle we feel, the painting on the wall looks as if it is ready to come off the wall and go sailing in the water.

Sunset In Hawaii

My wife and I went on our honeymoon to Hawaii, and the trip did not start out well plane problems caused us to be stuck at the airport for 4 hours before we could get going. As a result we got to Hawaii late and the only thing we could do after checking into the hotel was go to the closest beach and take a few pictures at sunset.

Turned out to be a good thing, while we were taking our pictures we looked over and saw this woman dancing on the beach, we only saw something like this the one day in our entire two weeks so it turned out to be a lucky chance, see the photo below:
