Pike's Place In B&W

This is a shot of the entrance to the Pike's Place Market in Seattle Washington. I converted it to black and white and then added a little color back in around the neon sign.

Pike's Place is a really historic huge farmers market, with some great produce, fish, restaurants, and street performers, the first Starbucks is here as well. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.

Hawaiian Sunset Dancer

This is a rework of an old image that we had. This was our first trip to Hawaii, and after multiple airline delays we finally made it to the island and checked in just before sunset. When we made our way out to the beach the sun was starting to set and this lady came out and started dancing, it was a very nice way to start the vacation after such a long trip over.

Main Street in Black & White

This is a shot of Disneyland's Main Street USA, that was converted to black and white.

This was another shot taken after closing, the security was in the middle of the shot but they were nice enough to see that I was taking pictures and move out of the shot.

Carousel Fine Candies

This is a shot of a few shops at Old Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey California. I shot this a few years ago on a photowalk with Trey Ratcliff from Stuck In Customs. Normally I am not a fan of shots like this with people walking around, but in this instance I think it works for the shot.

Disney Main Street Cinema

This is a shot of the Disneyland Main Street Cinema. Last time I was at the park people seemed to unconsciously gravatite to my camera while it was on the tripod shooting. This time around it was better except for this shot.

People were still making their way out of the park so I would fire off a few brackets, then pause let the people pass then do the next bracket. Well as I was waiting to shoot this one of the girls walking out came running to my camera and started posing for awhile, it was kind of funny considering the camera was not recording at that moment.

Anyways this is the Main Street Cinema, most of the time you can walk in here and nobody is in here, which can be nice on a busy day here, not only that you can catch some of the old cartoons that pretty much started the Disney empire.

Here are a couple of pictures of Carthay Circle restaurant inside Disney California Adventure. I did not have much time to shoot this place without people before security moved me along, so I was not able to try any other angles.

I could not decide if I liked the color or the black and white version so I included both versions. I do think that the B&W is a little more true to the scene since this is supposed to be a replica of the movie theatre that Snow White first premiered.

If you are here try the restaurant, it's a little pricey but the food is pretty good. They also have a very nice bar on the bottom floor, great for hanging out and getting a nice drink while in the park.

Bridge To Sunset

This is a sunset shot from Waikiki Beach in Hawaii. Along the beach there are these walkways that go to the ocean. Makes a perfect place to watch sunsets, and setup to take pictures. Though it was a little hard to setup the tripod because the walkway is narrow and people were walking around.

Bellagio Water Show

This is a shot of the water show at the Belliago Hotel & Casino in Vegas. Each of the shows has a different song to go along with the water show, this one was to the Pink Panther theme, and thats why there is some pink in the shot.

Cars Land

This is a shot of Cars Land at Disneyland. This was shot after closing and during the World of Color so the street was pretty empty.

The new land is really something, you really feel like your walking around in the world of Cars. Although the rides are just ok, the experience of the land is great. Also the detail at night with all the neon on the street is fantastic.

Disneyland Partners After Closing

This is a shot of the Disneyland Partners Statue after the park had closed down. I was not happy with the shot I did a couple of years ago because I could not setup very well since there was still a lot of people in the park. This time the setup was a whole lot easier since the park had been closed for about an hour. I did still have to wait for a few stragglers in front of the castle but that didn't take too long.

Hawaiian Painted Church

This is an HDR of the Star of The Sea Painted Chruch on the Big Island of Hawaii. The paintings tell a story of Father Daimen who cared for Hawaii's leprosy community in the 1800's he eventally caught the disease and died of it.

This church was also moved in 1990 from it's original location because of of a volcano eruption to prevent the lava from ruining it.
